Defeat after debatable decision by Gumienny !
Sunday 04 Oct 2009 23:58
After a very solid game KRC Genk closed day 10 in the league with a 1 - 0 defeat against Standard. The result came about after a very debatable decision by the match officials.
Liège scored on the hour through a penalty converted by Jovanovic. The penalty was given after João Carlos stumbled in the box and inadvertently brought down Mbokani, who was all to keen to go diving. Apart from a very debatable penalty whistled against him, Carlos was sent off in the process.
