Sad news in Genk today. Yesterday, midfielder Balazs Toth's mother died suddenly at the age of 54. Balazs heard the news minutes before kick off of his country's world cup qualification game against Malta. After consultation with the Hungarian national coach, Balazs decided not to play.
He arrived back in Genk earlier today but he will not play against Westerlo this Saturday.

Balazs will return to Hungary this weekend or early next week to be with his family and to attend his mother's funeral.

KRC Genk would like to express their deepest sympathy to Balazs and his family and wish all of them strength in these diffucult times.
