KRC Genk have drawn 1 – 1 against Roeselare on Saturday evening. Joneleit and Dissa scored the goals.

Hein Vanhaezebrock selected the same team that played against STVV. They seemed to have picked an easy chair after Joneleit scored after barely eight minutes. But nothing was further from the truth. Roeselare played a decent game without being really dangerous in front of goal. Genk on the contrary were never able to reproduce all the good things they put on show in Sint Truiden last Tuesday. Bad passing, wrong choices and utter inefficiency in the box characterised their game. Nevertheless, they were well on their way of winning a disappointing game in the Cristal Arena. But that was not what Mahamadou Dissa had in mind. In the very last second of injury time he scored the equalizer.

Genk were left behind with a terrible hangover. Moreover, they will have to do without Tozser in the Sunday game against Standard. He was sent off after 87 minutes with a second yellow card.
