The Football Association's prosecutor has demanded a three days suspension and a € 300 fine for Genk striker Christian Benteke. Benteke does not accept the penalty.
After a reckless tackle on Lokeren player Fevang last Saturday, the Genk striker was sent off by referee De Bleeckere with a straight red card. Benteke refuses to accept the proposed settlement and wishes to be heard before the Football Association's committee. He will be called to appear before that committee one of the following days.
