The appeal Christian Benteke lodged against his three days suspension was turned down. His sentence stands.
After a reckless tackle on Lokeren player Fevang last Saturday, the Genk striker was sent off by referee De Bleeckere with a straight red card.
The disciplinary committee demanded a three days suspension but Benteke lodged an appeal. The appeal committee has now confirmed the sentence.
