No Anele against Westerlo.
Next Saturday evening KRC Genk take on VC Westerlo. On Friday coach Mario Been announced that Anele will not be on the squad sheet.
"I have indeed given Anele a disciplinary suspension," Been told the press. "If you come back late without letting the club know, then that's against my principles," the Genk coach said. "I've had to work toward Saturday's game without Anele all week, so I will let him skip that game. From Sunday on he will be back in the group in preparation for the next game," Been concluded.
Furthermore Masuero, Joneleit, Hubert, Grimi and Simaeys are out through injury. Kevin De Bruyne on the other hand is 100% fit to play.
This morning Been warned his players not to underestimate the game against Westerlo. "We are not going to make it if we have the same attitude as in the Lierse game," the coach told his group. "We need 100% focus of everyone for this game, which is more important for me than next week's fixture against Valencia. I don't want to hear the word "Valencia" until after next Saturday's game."
But Been is confident : "I expect to see a combative team on the pitch on Saturday. Everyone is convinced the three points should stay in Genk.
