'One win does more than a thousand words'

After the extraordinary performance on Saturday evening in Bruges coach Mario Been now concentrates on the game against Chelsea.

"While we lost in the cup through mental weakness, I've seen a team that played well in bursts against Bruges, a team that won through perseverance. It's a pity that it caused my good friend Adrie Koster to be sacked. Even more so because I know what he puts into the game but it's part of the job. Although I don't always agree with that." That's how Mario Been looked back on the spectacular win against Bruges on Saturday evening.

"But now the focus is on Chelsea. Again we will have to shuffle the team. Pudil is suspended and Benteke is not eligible to play. On top of that Anele is still not up to strength, but we are working on it. We have watched the video from the away game, especially the things we did well and those we did wrong. Like having too much respect for the opponent for instance. We have nothing to loose on Tuesday and we want to give our fans a nice game. Nevertheless we will have to be at our best and we will have to count on a bit of an off-day from Chelsea. We have to take along the good things from our game against Bruges and avoid the bad things. Only then we might be able to get something out of the game. The victory against Bruges was very important to that effect. One win does more to a team than a thousond words from the coach. Of course I wouldn't say no to a game like the one against Valencia."
