KRC Genk reached an agreement with Joakim Maehle (22) on the extension of his contract until 2023.
The Danish defender arrived in Genk in July 2017. With 86 games, 4 goals and 14 assists Joakim became a key player in Genk. With his speed, stamina and audacious actions he played an important role in the race for the title.
Several foreign teams are interested in signing Maehle. KRC Genk are proud that Joakim chooses to extend his contract and together with the Genk supporters are looking forward to his upcoming games.
