We received the tragic news about the death of ex-Genkie Ngoy N'Sumbu. Ngoy played a total of 87 games for KRC Genk, in which he scored 17 times. The likeable Congolese won the Belgian Cup in 1998 and 2000, and became national champions with KRC Genk in 1999.
The death of Ngoy N'Sumbu is a great loss for all who knew him. We will remember him as a good footballer, but above all as a wonderful human being.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone who was dear to him. We wish them much strength during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Ngoy. You will live on in our hearts forever.
