KRC Genk reached an agreement with Swedish side IFK Göteborg on the transfer of Benjamin Nygren. The 17 year old striker signs a contract until 2024.
Nygren is considered to be one of the biggest talents in the Swedish top flight in which he made his debut at only 17 years old. Since then he played 13 games, scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists. Nygren is a true stylist, with an excellent technique, speed and vista. Benjamin can play as a striker and as a winger. He is also a Swedish youth international player with 24 caps for the national U15, U16 en U17 teams.
A number of European top sides were willing to sign Benjamin. Therefore, KRC Genk are pleased that he chose to join the project we have for him in Genk.
