KRC Genk and Brighton & Hove Albion reached an agreement on the transfer of Leandro Trossard. 24 year old Leandro makes his move from the Jupiler Pro League to the Premier League.

Trossard is a homegrown guy. He was formed in our Jos Vaessen Talent Academy. After playing on loan in Lommel, Westerlo and OH Leuven he returned to Genk at the start of the 2016 - 2017 season. Since then he played 120 games in which he scored a remarkable 39 goals and provided 21 assists.

Trossard is a true Genkie. Excelling on the pitch by his actions and hard labour, of the pitch by being strongly connected to the club. Leandro excelled in various European campaigns, became a Red Devil in August 2018 and wears the captain's armband since january of this year.

Trossard is a champion. On May 19th the cup celebrating our fourth title rose into the air in the hands of our captain. With the team and the fans, Leandro wrote an unforgettable new chapter in the club's history.
