Sebastien Dewaest signed a new contract at KRC Genk until 2023.
The 28 year old central defender made the move from Charleroi to KRC Genk in August 2015. Since then, Sebastien played 134 games for blue-white. He scored 11 goals, no less then 7 of them in the last season.
Director of Sports Dimitri de Condé is excited: “Dewaest played an excellent season and took the team in tow on our quest for the title. He carries our DNA, even literally so when you look at his latest tattoo. He is a true leader on and off the pitch. And, as does the club, he remains fiercely ambitious. Proud of what we achieved, but never satisfied.”
Congratulations Seba and see you soon in the Luminus Arena!
