One of the most talented players in the Genk Youth Academy fully engages in his future at our club. One year after he signed his first contract with KRC Genk, 16 year old Luca Oyen extended his engagement with another three seasons and an additional option for another two seasons.
Luca, son of former player Davy Oyen, joined KRC Genk ten years ago. Consequently he completed his entire formation at the club. Luca rapidly stood out because of his sharp actions,technical finesse and skills.
Currently, he is one of the key players in the team who are doing well in the Youth League.
Luca's rapid development in Genk and in the national youth squads attracted the attention of several foreign top sides. KRC Genk are happy that Luca and his family fully engage in a prolonged stay at the club, despite all that attention.
