Our club has reached an agreement with Paul Onuachu on a one-year contract extension. He will be under contract at KRC Genk until mid-2024.
Our Nigerian phenomenon made his debut for KRC Genk on 1 September 2019. In his first season he scored 10 goals, in his second he managed a staggering 35 goals. It earned him the title of top scorer, and as Paul is much more than just a goal machine, he was also voted Professional Footballer of the Year.
He has now reached the milestone of 50 goals for our club. Last Thursday already, Onuachu scored the winner in Vienna, and yesterday he did it again in the derby at Stayen. That takes his total to 6 for the current campaign. Paul has scored 42 goals in his last 51 games for Genk.
We are extremely proud as a club to still have Paul Onuachu on our books. Together, we will do everything we can to realise our ambitions.
