Season Kick-Off against Burnley FC

Since last week our boys have been hard at work ahead of the new season. On Saturday, July 22, after an intense preseason, we will kick off the season at 6:30 p.m. at home against Vincent Kompany's Burnley FC.

The fan zone will open at 4:00 p.m. Before the match, stadium DJ Johan and announcer Wout will play numbers 100–31 from the “Bluest List,” a playlist by and for supporters that all season ticket holders can vote for starting July 3. After the game we will continue the party as we play the top 30 for the supporters. The official fan day will be organized later in the autumn; we will announce a set date later when the calendar has been confirmed.

Season ticket holders can watch our boys at work against the newly promoted Premier League club for free in this Season Kick-off. If you don't have a season ticket yet, you will only pay 10 Euros. Children will pay only x euros. Tickets for the Season Kick-Off can be purchased online starting July 19; the ticket window on matchday itself will remain closed.

Wouter, Bryan and company are counting on your support next season, and it starts on July 22 against Burnley FC in a final test before we start our European adventure. Let’s get ready Genkies!
