As per annual custom, KRC Genk's players support Younited Belgium in the darkest period of the year. An organisation dedicated to helping people struggling with vulnerabilities such as housing problems, mental health problems, poverty and addiction. Under the motto 'MY TEAM, MY HOME', Younited builds football and cycling teams where everyone counts and is welcome.
During the topper against R. Antwerp FC, our players not only wore their club colours with pride, but also the Younited Belgium logo flaunted once on their chests. A powerful gesture symbolising the unifying power of sport.
All players will also sign their personal shirts after the match. These shirts are not only a tangible memory of a great day of football, but also a support for Younited Belgium. Indeed, the matchworn shirts will be auctioned for charity.
