Eduard Sobol is a Genkie. The Ukrainian left-back is rented from RC Strasbourg of the French League 1 for the rest of the season. The club also negotiated a purchase option.
Adding experience to the selection
Eduard Sobol, who made 124 appearances at Club Brugge in the past, is no stranger to the Belgian league. "His experience and knowledge of our league make him a valuable addition to our dressing room. We are convinced that Eduard's personality and professionalism fit perfectly within the atmosphere of our club. Eduard will have a positive influence on our team both on and off the pitch," Head of Football Dimitri de Condé indicated the choice of the 29-time Ukrainian international.

Sobol himself is also ready to embark on his new adventure at KRC Genk: "This was a good opportunity for me to come back to Belgium. This country feels like home.
