Djoully Nzoko is a Genkie. The Finnish youth international with Congolese roots signed a three-season contract with KRC Genk, the maximum contract length for minor players. Nzoko makes the move from FC Inter Turku, which plays in the Finnish first division. At the age of just 16, he has already made 12 appearances there this season. In those, he accounted for 4 goals and 1 assist. The latest Genk reinforcement is a left-legged dynamic flank attacker. He operates mainly from the right, but can play in several attacking positions. The explosive Finn enjoyed interest from all corners of Europe. Among others, PSG, FC Utrecht, FK Bodø/Glimt and Bologna showed concrete interest. In the end, KRC Genk was chosen. He joins Jong Genk.
"KRC Genk is the ideal step in my career. Technical Coordinator at Jong Genk, Stijn Haeldermans, gave me an impressive presentation in which he introduced the workings of the club. A nice personal trajectory was mapped out for me here. I was immediately convinced. There is nowhere better for me at the moment than here," the young Finn enthused.
