For the next five seasons, the iconic Nike ‘Swoosh’ will continue to adorn the chests of all Genk talents — from the Talent Academy and KRC Genk Ladies to the first team. Nike will also remain the supplier of the club’s broader leisurewear collection, available in the fanshop and online, through to 2030.

Since the 2009-2010 season, all KRC Genk teams have worn Nike kits — marking a successful 15-season collaboration that will now continue for another five seasons. The renewed partnership was announced through a striking video on social media, featuring club legends like Pierre Denier and Thomas Buffel. Current and future generations, represented by Tolu and Karetsas, also take the spotlight to showcase this renewed alliance. “Together, we’re ready for the future,” the message proudly states.

Shared values

“Both brands share the same values of excellence and talent development,” says Luc Hooybergs, CEO of KRC Genk and former Nike executive. “At Genk, we shape talent. With this extension, we’re not only supporting today’s generation of players but also tomorrow’s stars by providing top-quality sportswear. This renewed partnership also reinforces our local roots while enhancing our international appeal — further strengthening our image as a top club at home and with an eye on Europe.”
