Mine(s) and yours. With that powerful campaign slogan, KRC Genk launched its new first- and second kit for the 2025-2026 season on Thursday morning. A reference to Genk's mining history and the apparent opposites that characterise the city, but come together in blue and white to form one powerful whole. The first team will wear the new shirt for the first time on Saturday during the gala match against Spain's Rayo Vallecano at the annual fan day.

Under the banner "mine(s) and yours", the shirt campaign fuses different backgrounds and identities into one. Kicking off with a powerful video campaign, voiced by Genk native Alessandro, the campaign revolves around authentic Genk places and encounters. From former miners over great heroes to little maestros. From eating 'sticks' at the Molenvijver to singing at Tribune Zuid. Our colours we wear with pride. On our soil, on the streets, everywhere.

The home kit stays true to the classic blue and white, with subtle touches referring to the iconic cross structures of the mine shafts. Both shirts were designed in collaboration with shirt partner Nike and in consultation with representatives of the OSV and Tribune South.

"Our shirts are more than sportswear," says Head of Business Sem Franssen. "They carry memories and identity with them. The campaign slogan 'mine(s) and yours' says everything about how we as a club view our role in the city. Over the years we have come to speak more than 100 languages here in Genk, but in blue and white we are one. We wear our colours with pride in the stadium and on the streets."

fan campaign

Supporters can now purchase the new shirts in the fanshop and online. Via a special fan campaign, five supporters will also have a chance to win an extra shirt and donate a second shirt to a fellow Genkie. For more info on the supporter action, keep an eye on KRC Genk's social media channels.
