KRC Genk reached an agreement with Romanian side FC Viitorul on the transfer of Ianis Hagi. The 20 year old attacking midfielder signs a contract until 2024.
Ianis is technically very strong, left and right footed, has an excellent first touch and technique. He has lots of creativity, is always available on the pitch and plays with guts and initiative.
Hagi played an excellent past season at FC Viitorul: 39 games, 14 goals, 8 assists. This made him a transfer target for numerous European topflight sides. Recently Ianis excelled during the EC U21, where he reached the semi-finals with Romania. He is also a Romanian A-international capped 3 times already.
