KRC Genk reached an agreement with KV Mechelen regarding a loan of Dante Vanzeir for the upcoming season.
The young Limburg striker joined KRC Genk at the age of seven. He went through the entire Jos Vaessen Talent Academy and he is a Belgian Youthinternational. Last season he was succesfully loaned out to KFCO Beerschot in the Proximus League during which he played 39 games, scored 17 goals en provided 4 assists.
Dante now gets to work at KV Mechelen in the Jupiler Pro League, trying to make as many minutes of play as possible and gather experience. The loan also includes an option to buy for KV Mechelen and a buy back right for KRC Genk.
Dante, as well as KRC Genk, are convinced that is the best next step in his young career. Good luckDante!
