About the UEFA Youth League

As champions of Belgium’s youth league, we started in the so-called Domestic Champions Path. This includes the 32 highest-ranked national champions without their first team being in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. These 32 teams will go through two knockout rounds for eight places in the play-off round. If we get past Köln, we will face the winner of the match between Sparta Prague and MTK Budapest. In the play-off round, eight second-placed sides from the group stage of the UEFA Champions League await.

The eight winners of that play-off round, together with the eight group winners, will make it to the Round of 16.
