KRC Genk has signed the Argentine midfielder Nicolás Castro. He joins from Newell's Old Boys, signing a contract for five seasons, until the summer of 2027.
Nicolás is a two-footed midfielder. He has excellent technique, is versatile and has a good level of shooting ability. He was born in Rafaela, on November 1, 2000. Despite his young age, Castro has already played 51 games at the highest level in Argentina, recording nine goals and seven assists.
