After his 100th game for KRC Genk, it's now time for a contract extension! Joseph Paintsil has extended
his contract with our club until the summer of 2026. The Ghanaian winger’s contract had been set to run
until the summer of 2023.
Joske joined the club from the Ghanaian side Tema Youth in July 2018 and quickly became an important
player in our team during the title-winning campaign of 2019. In the summer of 2019, Paintsil joined the
Turkish side Ankaragücü on loan for a season, with no purchase option.
