On Wednesday afternoon, the return leg in the Youth League between Genk and Corelaine FC was played. In the first leg, our boys had won by a big margin, 0-4. The return leg started with Vic Chambaere in goal. Diawara was given a rest, and in his place Sakkali started.

After barely five minutes Raf Smekens was able to open the scoring, as he fired Martens' corner into the goal. Genk had started very strongly, and Thomas Claes was able to double the lead with an effort from range with his left foot finding the net. In the 35th minute there is was a wonderful run and finish by Arabaci, to make it 3-0 on the scoreboard. Just before half time, Sakkali was able to extend the lead to 4-0 after a great assist from Rotundo. Both teams went into halftime with the lead a well-deserved 4-0.

The second half started with one substitution on our side, as Martens came off for Baskale. The opportunities were piling up but without success. In the 70th minute the visitors had a chance for the first time and with success, as Patton was able to score their first goal to make it 4-1. Ten minutes before the end Sakkali was given a ball over the top, but his attempt was stopped by goalkeeper Mcdowel. In the 85th minute, the industrious Arabaci was able to find the net for his second goal of the evening. In the final minutes there would even be another goal, as after a mistake at the back Watton put the ball past his own goalkeeper to make the score 6-1.
