The draw for the UEFA Youth League play-offs has just been made. We were the last ball out of the pot and we met the “Old Lady,” the Italian side Juventus on February 7 or 8!
Juventus are veterans of the UEFA Youth League. Last year they eliminated Liverpool and narrowly lost the semi-final on penalties to eventual winner Benfica. This year in the group stage they again faced Benfica! Together in a group with Maccabi Haifa and PSG, the Italians only lost once, on match day one in Paris. They finished in second place with 11 points.
