Back to business! With more than 1,300 Genkies, we head to Sclessin tomorrow. There the topper against Standard Liege awaits us. Wouter Vrancken looked ahead to this afternoon's press conference.

The core of players was full and injury-free on the training pitch today. Our internationals are back on the road, and so is our patriotic league. The trip to the fiery city will be the start of a hell of a final sprint towards the end of the year. With nine games left, on three fronts, our boys are hungry to end the year in a positive flow. Starting we do against the Rouches, who were given a thrashing by Antwerp just before the break.

'We should not be blinded by that result,' Wouter started the press conference. 'If everything goes well for one side and against the other, things like that can happen. Of course, because they have something to put right, I expect a match with a lot of intensity. But we analysed their qualities and fully believe in our chances. We are ready to get the best Standard can against them.'

The tally of games played this season stands at 25, some 10 more than our opponent tomorrow. Something that can creep into the legs, noted one journalist.

'We don't think like that,' Wouter countered the statement. 'We are happy to be in all those competitions. Before the end of the year, we still have nine games to go. It motivates us to end the year on a good note and go full steam ahead. Starting with tomorrow's difficult transfer, in and against Standard Liege.'

With more than 1,300 Genkies, we will cross the language border tomorrow. In other words: a sold-out visitors' section.

See you tomorrow, Genkies!
