Genk's youth product Robin Mirisola has extended his contract at KRC Genk until 2027. Mirisola arrived at the Genk Talent Academy 11 years ago. He has been part of the Jong Genk selection since last season. The Limburg striker is athletically built, possesses solid technical baggage and has a nose for goals. He started the current season strongly in the Challenger Pro League. In three games, he accounted for as many goals and an assist. Mirisola's achievements did not go unnoticed. The 17-year-old Belgian could count on interest from Olympique Marseille and Juventus, among others, but opted for an extended stay at Cegeka Arena.

"Since childhood, my ambition has been to play in the first team. With this contract extension, I am taking a step in the right direction to achieve that goal. I am perfectly coached at Jong Genk and would like to develop further in this familiar environment. I cannot wait to give myself further for this beautiful club," Mirisola enthuses.
