KRC Genk and Beobank will continue their partnership for the next three seasons. The collaboration, which began in 2013, has been extended under a new agreement that will see the Belgian bank featured on the jerseys of Bryan Heynen & co. until 2028. With this extension, the two organizations will celebrate their 15-year anniversary in 2028.
“At Beobank, we are very pleased to extend our agreement with KRC Genk. The values represented by KRC Genk—the family atmosphere and the combination of national prominence with the club's strong local roots—align perfectly with the values upheld by Beobank. Continuing our sponsorship fits within our strategy of building long-term relationships with both our partners and our clients. We are also excited to expand the sponsorship by associating our name with all of KRC Genk’s sports entities (Youth, Women’s Team, Esports, and the KRC Genk Foundation), underlining our ambition to collaborate and make sports accessible to everyone,” said Guy Roosen, Sales & Marketing Director at Beobank.
As the main partner, Beobank will once again hold the most prominent sponsorship positions, including the central chest spot on the first team’s kit and the back position for Jong Genk and all youth teams. In addition, Beobank will expand its commitment in this renewed partnership by providing clear support for the KRC Genk Ladies and the KRC Genk Esports team. The partnership will also feature numerous content and activation campaigns, emphasizing Beobank’s promise to ensure you are well-supported.
“We have already come a long way together, sharing sporting successes such as the league title, cup victory, and successful European campaigns. For the upcoming seasons, we are once again well-supported by Beobank,” said Sem Franssen, Head of Business at KRC Genk.
With this extension, the partnership will reach 15 years in 2028. “In a volatile world like professional sports, long-term partnerships are more the exception than the rule. That we have managed to link a high-quality Belgian brand like Beobank to our club for 15 years is only possible because we share the same philosophy. Both organizations recognize the significant role we play in society and our responsibility to give back wherever we can. In the new agreement, we will focus even more on relevant initiatives aimed at bringing people together,” said Sem Franssen.
