Luca Oyen is making the move to SC Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie. Oyen came through the youth academy of KRC Genk before progressing to the first team. In total, he made 83 appearances for the senior side, scoring three goals. After suffering several serious injuries, the winger regained match fitness during the first half of the season with Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League.
After a long period in blue and white, Luca now opts for a new challenge. KRC Genk would like to thank Luca for his commitment and dedication to the club and wishes him every success in this new chapter of his career.
