Academy products Camara and Kapers also extend their stay at KRC Genk

Work is also continuing behind the scenes to build for the future. KRC Genk have likewise activated the options in the contracts of Ali Camara and Wout Kapers, both currently featuring for Jong Genk.

Camara was one of Belgium’s standout performers at the U17 World Cup in Qatar at the end of last year. Kapers, a young left-back with strong attacking qualities, showcased his talent earlier this week by curling in a superb free-kick for the Belgium U18s against Slovenia in their European qualification campaign.

Both players will continue their development in the Challenger Pro League.
