KRC Genk have rewarded Aaron Bibout’s progress with a new contract. The young striker was already under contract until 2030, and his new deal includes an option for an additional season, until 2031.

Bibout arrived in Genk in the summer of 2025 and joined Jong Genk, where he made an immediate impact, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances. During the winter break, he joined the first-team squad full-time and continued his development in the second half of the season.

Bibout has many of the qualities of a modern striker. He combines height, physical presence and the ability to run in behind with a keen eye for goal.

With this new deal, KRC Genk recognise the progress Bibout has made over the past season. The club also believe the 22-year-old striker can continue to develop at Blauw-Wit.

For Bibout, the new contract is above all an incentive to build on what he has already achieved in Limburg. “I feel a lot of trust from the club, and I’m happy with the progress I’ve made here so far. At the same time, I know I can still take many more steps forward. KRC Genk gives me the environment and guidance to improve every day. I want to keep working hard. I want to repay the club’s trust with goals,” said Bibout.
