KRC Genk have signed Ivorian midfielder Mohammed Aziz Ouattara. He joins from Swedish side Hammarby and has signed a contract for four and a half seasons, until the summer of 2026.
Aziz Ouattara has just turned 21 years old. He moved from ASEC Mimosas in the Ivory Coast to the Swedish league two years ago. After a first year on loan, he grew into one of Scandinavia's most promising defensive midfielders in 2021 at Hammarby. He had attracted the interest of clubs in France, Italy, Spain and the United Arab Emirates, but has opted for our project here in Genk.
