Daniel Muñoz is leaving KRC Genk and heading to the Premier League. The Colombian international signed a contract at Crystal Palace until 2027, with an option for one more season.
Since his move to KRC Genk in 2020, Muñoz has played a total of 148 games for KRC Genk and managed to find the net 19 times. His contribution on and off the pitch was huge and his farewell touches us all.
In an emotional message, Dani expressed his gratitude to the supporters. He stressed how special the club and our fans have been for him during his time in Belgium.
In turn, KRC Genk would like to thank Daniel Muñoz, or Dani, warmly for his tireless efforts and passion. We wish him every success in his new adventure in England. It is always difficult to say goodbye to a player who has meant so much to the club, but we look forward to seeing Dani's further development and successes in the Premier League.
