Tuesday evening marked the return of the annual GenKids Fan Day, an event eagerly anticipated by both young and old alike. Over 850 children had the opportunity to enjoy themselves at Plopsa Indoor Hasselt, where they not only savored the rides but also had the chance to meet their soccer idols up close.
Fun was in abundance, with attractions ranging from carousels to the Wickie Coaster and flying seats. However, what made the day truly memorable was the chance to snag an autograph or even take a selfie with a beloved player. Coach Wouter Vrancken couldn't contain his excitement, remarking, "Seeing so many happy children is truly fantastic." The goal is to instill enthusiasm for the club from an early age and cultivate a lasting bond with the KRC Genk family. Today's autographs and rides on the Wickie Coaster with their favorite players could potentially turn these children into the club's most dedicated supporters in the future.
