On Friday afternoon, the draw for the League Phase of the UEFA Europa League took place in Monaco. The 36 participating teams were divided into four pots of nine clubs each, based on their UEFA club coefficient. KRC Genk were placed in Pot 4.
Since the introduction of the new format last year, the traditional group stage of four teams has disappeared. Instead, there is now one large league phase. Our boys will play eight matches against different opponents: four at home and four away.
At the Cegeka Arena we will welcome Real Betis, Ferencváros, Basel, and Malmö. Away from home, we will face Rangers, Braga, Midtjylland, and Utrecht.
